Parking brake must be On before start to inspection

1. AOA Probes....... CHECK 
Probes should be uncovered and damage free. 









2. Captain and F/O Static ports....... CHECK 
Static ports should be clean and free of obstructions. 






3. Avionics vent air inlet........... CHECK 
Door should be open and unobstructed if OAT Is greater than ground threshold (35°- 55°F) otherwise door should be flush with aircraft. 




4. Oxygen Bay Door..... CLOSED 
Door should be closed and latched. 






5. Oxygen pressure Relief Disc.... CHECK
Check that the green disc is in place. 









 6. Pitot probes............... CHECK 
Pitot probes should be uncovered and damage free. 







7. TAT Probes..................CHECK 






8. Standby static port......... CHECK 
Port should be uncovered and damage free. 






9. Radome and latches : 
Check the Rodome for condition, and latches secured. 




10. DME #1 Antenna....... CHECK 
Check condition and security. 








11. Nose avionics compartment door.... Check 
The door should be closed and latched. 





12. EXT POWER Door......... CHECK 
Door should be secured (if ground power is unavailable) 





13. Chocks.............. IN PLACE 




14. Wheel and Tires...... CHECK. condition 





15. Parking brake light...check 







16. Taxi / takeoff  lights....Check
Condition 






17. Nose gear  Structure..... CHECK 
Check for adequate strut inflation general condition. 




18. Runway Turnoff lights.... CHECK 
Check lenses for general condition and cleanliness. 





19. Hydraulic and Electrical
 lines....... Check 
Check lines for leakage and fraying. 






20. Wheel Well......... CHECK. 
Check for condition and signs of damage. 






21. Safety pin.......   .. REMOVE
And gear door close. 





22. FWD Avionics compartment door closed 
Door should be closed and latched. 




23. Avionics vent air outlet
 valve.. Check 
Door may be open or closed based on skin temperature threshold same as the avionics vent inlet valve. 




24. AFT avionics compartment door closed 






25. F/O and captain static ports.... check 








26. Forward Cargo door.... Check 
If door is closed handle should be flush with the door and the locking indicator showing green 




27. AOA Probes.......... CHECK 





28. Antennas...... Check 
Check control and security of the Transponders and #1 & #2 DME Antennas. 






29. Cargo Door selector panel.... Close 





30. Lav Drain Mast... Check. 
Check the drain mast for damage and obstructions. 






31. Marker Beacon Antenna.... Check 





32. Emergency Ram Air Inlet
 Flap.... Check 






33. HP Ground Connection 
door..... Close 

34. LP conditioned air door.... Close 




35. Potable water drain door.... Close 







36. Pack Air intakes..... Close 





37. Beacon light...... check 

38. Over pressure Panels... Secured 







39. Center fuel tank Magnetic fuel level.... Secure 





40. Center fuel tank Leak Monitor valve... Check for signs of leakage. 







41. Yellow Hydraulic Bay Door.. closed and latched. 





42. Pack Air Outlets ....Check 
Outlets should not be obstructed 




43. Refueling control panel.... Closed




44. Magnetic fuel level and water drain valve.... Secure and check the sticks should be secure and flush with the wing.  Check for signs of leakage. 





45. Landing light..... Check 






46. Leading edge slat #1... Check 
The slat should be Retracted and free from damage or contamination. 



47. Oil service door..... Closed and latched 




48. Mag Chip Detector Door... Closed





49. Cowling..... Secured 

50. Engine Strake (S).... Check 




51. Engine inlet and Fan
 Blades.... Check 
The engine inlet and fan blades should be undamaged and free from contamination or obstructions.

52. EPR Probe.... Check 
The probe should be secure and unobstructed. 





53. Start valve access door.... Close 





54. Engine pylon / Access Panel.. Check

55. Single point Refueling Cap.. Close 





56. Wing Tank Overpressure indicator... Check 





57. Leading Edge Slats #2,3,4, and 5.. Check 
The slats should be retracted,, not damaged and free from contamination 





58. Manual Magnetic fuel levels.... Check 
The sticks should be secured and flush with the wing. 





59. Outer & surge fuel tank water drain valves ...Check 




60. Surge Tank air inlet (NACA port) ..CHECK 
THE Inlet should not be obstructed 





61. Surge Tank Overpressure indicator... Check 
Check the black disk with a white cross visible 





62. Navigation light (GREEN).. CHECK 
The light should be illuminated and undamaged 





63. Wing Tip.... Check 
Check the wing tip for contamination or damage. 




64. Static dischargers.... Check 
Check for placement and damage. 





65. Right Aileron..... Check 
Check for contamination and damage.  




66. Flaps and Fairings.... CHECK 
check for contamination and damage. 




67. Engine Exhaust Outlet.... Check 
Check for damage and obstructions. 




68. Engine Drain Masts ...... CHECK 
check drain mast for damage no leaks. 





69. Landing Gear Doors.... Close 
The landing gear should be closed 





70. Gear Down Lock ......Remove 





71. Downlock Spring...... Check 
Check for Apparent damage. 




72. Strut,  Tires and Wheels..... Check 
Check strut for leaks, check lines wheels and tires for general condition. 





73. Brake Wear indicators..... Check 
Check wear indicators pins for proper length Hydraulic lines.. Check lines for damage and leakage. 








74. Torque link damper (if installed) 
CHECK 




75. APU Fuel shroud & center Drain mast.... CHECK 
Check the drain mast for damage obstruction and leakage. 




76. Yellow Hydraulic Ground connection door.... Close 




77. VHF Antenna........ CHECK 
Check condition and security 




78. AFT Cargo Door......... Check 
If door closed,  handle should be flush with door and locking indicators green 





79. AFT BULK CARGO DOOR.... CLOSE 




80. Cargo door selector.... Close. 




81. Lav service Access Door.... Close 





82. Outflow valve.... Check 
Check that the outflow valve is fully open. 




83. Lav Drain mast..... Check 
Check the drain mast for damage and obstruction.






84. Toilet Vacuum vent.... Check 
Vent should not be obstructed. 




85. Flight Reorder access Door... Closed





 86. Stabilizers , Elevator and Rudder.... Check 




87. Static discharges.... Check 
Check for placement and damage 





88. APU Access doors...... Closed 




89. APU DRAIN...... CHECK 
Check the drain for leaks and damage. 






90. APU Exhaust..... Check 
The exhaust port should be unobstructed 







91. APU OIL Cooler air outlet... Check 




92. Navigation light (white).. CHECK 
Check the condition of the lens, and that the light is illuminated 





93. APU Air intake.... Check 
The intake should be unobstructed 





94. APU Fire Extinguisher Disk... Check 
Red disk must be in place, or thermal discharge has occurred. 




95. Stabilizer Trim index... Check 
Check that the stabilizer is within trim limits 






96. Potable water service door..... Closed 





97. Blue Hydraulic connection
 door.... Closed 




98. Hydraulic service door.... Closed. 




99. Hydraulic system Reservoir
 door .....CLOSED 
the door should be closed and latched. 




CHECK LEFT GEAR AS YOU DID THE RIGHT 


LEFT WING TRAILING EDGE 
CHECK THE SAME AS THE RIGHT WING 


LEFT WING LEADING EDGE 
CHECK THE SAME AS THE RIGHT WING 


LEFT ENGINE 
CHECK THE SAME AS THE RIGHT ENGINE 


SAME RIGHT WING PLUS 



100. RAT DOOR..... CLOSED 








101. HYDRAULIC PRESSURE BAY  DOOR 
CLOSED AND LATCHED
