To obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), the required flight hours depend on the aviation authority under which you are training. Here are the general minimum flight hour requirements for obtaining a CPL from different authorities:

Key Points:
- These are the minimum flight hour requirements. In practice, many flight schools require more than the minimum for students to gain sufficient proficiency.
- The flight hours include both solo (unaccompanied by an instructor) and dual (with an instructor) flying time. Some countries, like the U.S., require a specific breakdown of both solo and dual flight hours.
- The flight hours are often divided into different categories like cross-country flights, night flights, and instrument flying. You will need to meet specific requirements in each category.
- Additional training or flight hours may be needed for specialized ratings or endorsements, such as the Instrument Rating (IR) or Multi-Engine Rating (ME).
Additional Considerations:
- If you are training to become a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) after obtaining a CPL, this may help you build additional flight hours toward meeting the minimum requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license.
- Flight simulators can be used for some of the required flight time, such as instrument hours or night hours.
It's important to check with the specific flight school and aviation authority in the country where you plan to train to understand any additional flight time requirements, as these may vary slightly depending on the country and specific regulations.
