Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA):
The full training program at EFTA costs USD 181,650 (including VAT). This comprehensive fee covers:
- Entire training programme
- Training materials
- Student visa
- Accommodation
- Uniform
- Three daily meals
- Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) ground course completion certificate
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course completion certificate
- Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi Instrument Rating (CPL/Multi IR) approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority
Please note that medical insurance is not included but can be arranged with recommended providers.
Emirates Aviation University (EAU):
EAU offers various aviation-related programs with differing fee structures. For example, the Extended Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering is AED 52,500 per year, which is approximately USD 14,583. Other programs, such as the Airport Ground Handling course (15 months), cost AED 38,850 (around USD 10,792).
Additional Costs:
For programs like the Private Pilot License (PPL) course, fees can vary depending on the aircraft used. For instance, training on a Piper aircraft (43 hours minimum) costs AED 55,900, while training on a Cessna 172 (43 hours minimum) costs AED 58,050.
