1. Meet the Requirements
- Age: At least 17 years old.
- Medical Certificate: Obtain a 3rd Class Medical (U.S.) or equivalent in your country.
- English Proficiency: Required for communication.
2. Choose a Flight School
- Look for a Part 61 or Part 141 flight school (U.S.) or an equivalent in your country.
- Consider factors like cost, instructor quality, and aircraft availability.
- Take a discovery flight to experience flying firsthand.
3. Ground School & Written Exam
- Learn about aerodynamics, navigation, weather, and FAA regulations.
- Study with an online course, flight school, or instructor.
- Pass the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test (if in the U.S.).
4. Flight Training
- Minimum of 40 hours total flight time (U.S. requirement), including:
