      1. Seat belt.....................FASTENED

2. Fuel shutoff valve.......... ON

3. Cyclic and collective...... FRICTION OFF 




4. Now we are checking our cyclic and pedals make sure they are full travel free 




5. Throttle is full travel free our collective fold down and now friction is on





6. Rotor brake......... Disengaged




7. Circuit breakers are IN 






8. Carb heat............ OFF 




9. Mixture.............. Full Rich 




10. Mixture guard installed

11. Making sure landing light is off 



12. Avionic switch.......... off 




13. Clutch......... Disengaged 





14.  Altimeter .....................SET 



15. Hydraulic and governor switches....ON



16. Twist the throttle a couple of times to prime it 



17. We are double check and make sure throttle is closed 



18. We are going to yell clear and make sure the area Around the helicopter is clear 




19. The battery and strobe switches.... ON 




20. Ignition switch start 

21. RPM 50 To 60% .......SET 



22. Clutch switch engaged 




23. Blades are turning in less than 5 seconds 



24. Alternator and timer..... ON 




25. We have oil pressure 30 seconds up to minimum of 25 PSI 



26. Avionics switch...... ON 




27. Double checking to make sure circuit breakers are IN 




28. Checking our compass to make sure it's aligned with our directional gyro 




29. Looking at our gauges we "ll rate 0




30. Altimeter........ SET 

WE "ll get the actual altimeter setting when we listen to sedar city ASOS 



31. Look at Carb heat gauge. Over to our RPMS 



32. Make sure that. The rest our gauges all reading good and correct 



33. Our attitude indicators level everything's reading straight 




34. Airspeed........... 0 




35. Adjust map screen 



36. Flipping it to the ads B page 




37. Local radio frequencies.... Check 




38. Checking our weather on the ASOS Which is the automated surface observation system 




39. Transponder......... TURN ON 




40. Reading altitude and squawking 1200



41. Clutch light is  out 




42. Warm up RPM 60 to 70%




43. Make sure engine gauges are green 




44. we"ll do Mag drop check at 75% RPM



45. Switch the key to the right Mag and check a 7% Max drop in 2 seconds. Then back to both. Now checking the left Mag looking for that 7% Max drop in 2 seconds on our spragg clutch check. We are going to quickly Roll the throttle..... OFF 


Now check the left Mag. Looking for that 7% Max drop in 2 seconds on over spragg clutch check. We are going to quickly Roll the throttle off looking for our needles to split. 




46. Carb heat...... Check 




47. Look at limit chart 




48. Cyclic and collective friction... OFF 




49. Hydraulic system switch....... off 





50. A small little X Pattern to make sure the controls work smoothly with the hydraulics off 



51. Pull on the collective it is going to be hard up easy down 




And we confirm the hydraulics work with the same movements with the cyclic. And collective increasing throttle up to 80% at that point the governor will take over and take it up to 101 to 102%



53. Warning lights are out 



54. Lift collective slightly reduce rpm looking for the horn and light at 97% before takeoff our RPM are at 101 to hundred and 2%. 


55. The Area is clear right center and left 

56. All caution lights are out 




57. Engine gauges are green 



58. All gauges are reading correctly
