The Basic Ground Instructor (BGI) Exam is for individuals who want to become certified to provide ground instruction for the Private Pilot and Recreational Pilot certificates. Register for the BGI Knowledge Test at an FAA-authorized testing center (e.g., PSI).

Authorized Ground Instruction:
- Teach ground school for the Private Pilot Certificate and Recreational Pilot Certificate.
